Initially I picked the topic of sustainability for the senior project. Starting the research by going through many books, research papers, and synchronizing it with my personal experience in the healthcare industry, I was intrigued in going deep to solving the problem of excessive wastage of textiles in the healthcare industry. Throughout my 4 years in The School of Fashion of Ryerson University. Information regarding sustainability in the fashion industry and also in day to day activities was briefly discussed. When in 2020, Covid -19 global pandemic struck I decided to serve in the healthcare industry. It is then when I realized that on a day to day basis an immense textile wastage occurs. Due to the infectious reasons not many employees were focused on sustainability but rather providing services. This is when I realized that the healthcare industry needs sustainability which comes handy to them without paying much attention to it. This is when I introduced a new textile Tencel.

I have evolved as an Inclusive designer where design is not just about pretty stuff but helping a large community.
